He may remove and trim the veneers as needed to achieve the proper fit; the color can be adjusted with the shade of cement used. Once everything is perfect, your teeth will be cleaned, polished, and etched (roughened) to allow for a strong bonding process. Special cement is applied to the veneer, which is then placed on your tooth. Once it's properly positioned, Dr. Valenta will apply a special light to the veneer, activating chemicals in the cement to harden it quickly.
